Hettie’s journey brought her to the Clymping Dog Sanctuary in early December 2023, after her previous owners realized they could no longer care for her. Despite the challenges she faced, Hettie’s spirit remains unbroken.

For two years before her arrival at the sanctuary, Hettie hadn’t experienced the joy of walks. Now, her daily strolls with the sanctuary staff are a cherished part of her routine, bringing her immense happiness and a wagging tail. With her big personality, Hettie dreams of spending her days exploring the outdoors, playing with her favorite toys, and enjoying a good scratch.

Hettie’s affectionate nature shines through, though she prefers to have her personal space respected by other dogs. As such, she would thrive in a home without other pets. However, she remains calm and composed when encountering other dogs during her walks, as long as they keep a respectful distance.

Hettie would be an ideal companion for a family with older children, offering endless playtime and companionship. This lovely girl truly deserves someone who will take a chance on her, showing her the wonders of a dog’s life filled with love and adventure.
